Passing Criteria

Passing Criteria

For promotion to the next class, a student must secure a passing grade/ marks in the written Tests/ Exams and also must have a passing grade separately in the projects, practical and assignments. For promotion, the whole year’s performance will be taken into account in each subject.

  1. Students absenting themselves from a Test/Exam for any reason, will not be examined and absence in a Test/Exam will be treated as having received no marks.
  2. Students using unfair means in the Test/Exam will be given zero in that subject and it will be recorded as an act of misconduct.
  3. In matters of promotion & detention, the decision of the School is final.
    CLASS XI
    In class XI, there will be four cycles of Test, Half yearly and Annual Examination. Assessment of components like project, practical and internal assessment will also be done and included with the performance of each subject.

    NOTE:
    Each Test will be out of 50/35 marks & 90 minutes duration. Half yearly and Annual Examination out of 100 marks each and of 3 hours duration as per C.B.S.E. pattern.

    PROMOTION CRITERIA

    For promotion to class XII, a student must secure a passing grade/marks in the written Tests/Exams and also must have a passing grade separately in the projects, practical and assignments. For promotion, the whole year’s performance will be taken into account in each subject.

    Classes XII
    There are Qualifying Exams, four cycles of Test, Half yearly Exam and Mock Board Examination scheduled in the school planner. To be eligible to take the C.B.S.E. Examination, students must achieve a consistently good record of academic performance and ful?l the attendance requirements as stipulated under C.B.S.E. rules.

    NOTE:
